Gold garage sale dishes!!

I have a new favorite set of dishes!! Can you believe I picked these up at a garage sale for $3.00?!

I pulled out my gold chargers, wish I had gold silverware....Alas.

There were 6 dinner plates, 6 salad plates, 6 dessert plates, 6 bowels, 3 cups, 3 saucers and a serving plate!

Add to the table some
wine glasses with those little rings for them.....can you grasp my lack of sophistication??

A beautiful peony and a hosta leaf.

Some candles and good friends.

What a great find! I just love them.
Be sure and register for the giveaway on the side bar!!

Oh how beautiful. I can't believe that bargain!!! I hear ya about the silver flatware and gold trimmed dishes. I am trying to 'get over it' and mix gold and silver. Seems everyone else does, but I have spend years collecting dishes with silver (or platinum color) trim. What a great job.

Laurie, what a find. The china is really pretty and matches phantastic with your golden chargers and the beautiful tablecloth and napkins. Nice details with the rings for the stemware. Yes, to have golden silverware would be sometimes nices. But yours look pretty, too and may be it would be too much gold with golden ones. It is perfect just as it is.
greetings, Johanna
